It was a pleasure hosting you!

Hello everyone!

We hope you've all found your way back home safely and had time to rest before getting back to work.
Here we are finishing economic reports and starting our general report on the work done during the ToT.
I have uploaded a fun video of one of the ice breaking dynamics you guys did.
Hope you enjoy viewing it (ignoring the not-so-great resolution of the video)...

Excursion went well

We are back in San José after spending the day working at the beach.

The tour down the Tarcoles River allowed us to see some beautiful animals.

There was a chance for participants to identify environmental issues like the once addressed during the ToT. It was a practical exercise and a nice change of scenery!

During the afternoon the participants filled the walls of our meeting room with colorful information.

Check out our progress!!

Here at Indigo Hotel we are enjoying the interesting presentations of our participants, facilitators and guest speakers. After learning about the Ecosystem Approach and having raging role plays on the interrelations of the water use sectors, we are now learning about the value of ecosystems.

This afternoon we will have a case study session and group work.
Participants are coming up with great ideas and discussions.

Logistics and other useful information

Dear all,

We want to remind you that there is a field trip scheduled in our program,
Given that the weather these days is warm during the day and rainy in the afternoons you should pack accordingly.
You should bring a backpack to pack clothes to spend one night outside of the city and clothes for the next day.
We also recommend you bring a cap or hat for the sun, comfortable clothes for that day's trip and sunscreen.

We will also take advantage of this opportunity to let you know we will have a closure ceremony on Friday 27th and then a dinner in a restaurant in town.

We will post further information about transportation and details about your arrival in a couple of hours.

We are looking forward to meeting you all.
If you have any questions about logistics please don't hesitate to write.

Visa UPDATE

Dear all,

After a successful meeting yesterday with authorities at the Immigration Department they have agreed to take the responsibility of issuing your visas themselves and then simply sending them to the Consulate nearest to you or in your flight connection. This will certainly mean the whole process is easier and it assures us that you will get your visas on time.

We need you to send your passport's principal page scanned to us if you still haven't done so. This is of urgent matter.

There are 3 different scenarios in addition to this that we were asked to provide for an even speedier process:

  • If you have visa for the United States
  • If you have visa for the European Union
  • If you have a Japanese visa
In case you do have one of this visas please send a scanned copy of it as well.

We thank you in advance for your prompt replies.
